It was a warm night so I turned on the AC and slept under my comforter. I didn’t feel hot. It was a light sweat on my lower back only and it dried by the time I went to then returned from the bathroom. But it was odd. My lower back was hurting too, which I assumed was caused by an IBS flare-up or herpes outbreak, since I have both conditions and they can cause back pain. But I normally only sweat at night if I’ve had too much to drink.
What could cause this?

It started two days ago when I felt really bloated in the evening. I went to the bathroom and my stool was solid, but I still felt discomfort in my lower abdomen. Yesterday, I woke up with lower back pain and nausea which lasted throughout the day. During the late afternoon, the diarrhea began.
This morning I felt better -no back pain- and thought I should try to eat something, but after having some bread, the discomfort began again. My stool is solid again however. I’ve found that eating yogurt and easy to digest foods makes me feel slightly better.
Throughout this time I’ve never had to vomit, and i haven’t felt any other symptoms like sinus congestion/cough. Burping also helps, so whatever it is most likely causes gas buildup. After eating yogurt and applesauce just now, i’m not feeling any symptoms at all, but I feel that if I eat anything more solid, the problems will start again.
Please help, I have a lot of work to do and cannot miss school this week.

The back part of the upper part of my legs (like from knees to butt) are very soar and hurt. I also feel very weak and lately all I want to do is sleep. Could I be sick? I have no temperature though. My neck and lower back also hurt.

I’m a Massage Therapy student and I’m finding that most people on here believe you can train to be a LMT in a month!!!! (I wish!) I’m in school right now learning all the benefits of massage (circulatory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, elimination, increased ROM, decreased pain, increase in white blood cell count in people with HIV, increased immunity, treatment for lots of diseases without the use of medication). I believe MT is incredibly undervalued and it’s my goal to educate the people about preventative healthcare utilizing exercise, healthy diet, MT, and chiropractic adjustments.
What do you think about massage therapy?

waking up with leg pain that radiates from the lower part of the knee to the ankle, with calf pain. sore & aching and tender to touch from the front to the back of the legs as well as on the inside. once I start moving around it eleviates.

I think I may have it. For the past 2 years I have a pain that I beleive originates in my colon. It’s a gnawing sort of dull pain on my right mid side accompained by low back pain. The pain seems to come on about an hour after eating gluten or very bready/ starchy foods. Since I discovered it may be gluten causing the pain, I’ve cut way back on gluten but the digestive problems I have seem to keep going on. Warning this is probably TMI ! .. I read that one of the most common signs you have celiac is if you have frequent diarrea. I occasionally have it but I more commonly constipated. Other digestive problems I have are gas, acid stomouch/ bile/ heartburn, and burping. All the other symptoms of Celiac’s I seem to have.. dehydrated, mild depression, foggy brain, irritability, and just plain feeling sick. Are my symptoms severs enough to spend money on a doctor at this point (don’t have insurance and am poor right now) or should I wait it out. Anyone with the disease have same symptoms? Need some advice! Thanks!

I am on a long waiting list for MRI. My VA medical Doc prescribed Gabapentin for nerve pain, I am not feeling any relief taking this med. Plus it does cause me to sleep some, which causes the pain to go past a level 10 upon awaking, due to my back being locked up. Its better to move around than sleep. By the way the pain is lower back, shoots down both legs.
I am also on a long waiting list for water therapy.

I find that every 20-30 mins I HAVE to pop my back or I’m extremely uncomfortable and I can’t stand or walk for a long period of time or my back KILLS me. As in it’s all I think about until I can relieve it and that’s kind of hard to do when you’re out on the town. I am constantly bending from the waist to try and relieve my lower back and it’s getting annoying. Does anyone know what these symptoms can be and if I should see a doctor or if there’s a way to help it myself.

Should I get a 2nd opinion on my back problem?
I was rear-ended first of August by someone exceeding the speed limit by 3 times. I’ve had a lot of back pain since then. I have went to 8 weeks of physical therapy which didn’t help any. I have been on pain meds & anti-inflamatory meds. My doctor had me go for an MRI. They called with results yesterday & said it showed up with mild arthritis and inflamation. I am only 27 years old, I have never had any back pain before now. Does this sound like something that could be caused from an accident and would these problems make my back hurt so much sometimes it keeps me in bed & keeps me from doing activities such as riding my bike, bowling, bending over, lifting heavy things, etc.? Should I get a 2nd opinion? Thanks.

Yesterday I started feeling like I was getting sick. I was sneezing a lot and had mucous. Today I had diarrhea twice in the day and now tonight I started throwing up. After my second time throwing up I got really bad lower back pain. It hurts to stand upright and it hurts to move or breath and it hurts to lie down. When I lie down it feels like my stomach is caving in on itself and it causes my back to hurt more. When I touch my stomach or lie down my stomach and back really hurt and it makes me feel like I have to puke or poop. I’ll go into the bathroom and nothing happens. I’ve forced myself to throw up 3 times in the past 45 min. only because I feel semi better for about 20 min. then everything starts hurting worse again. What could this be? I’m a 22y/o female.

I need to lose at least 25-30 pounds as I am having multiple medical problems, the least being the new hip and leg pain which is causing me to be unable to even walk for exercise. I went to the chiropractor yesterday and my hip was “out”, so he put it back and today it is back “out”. I cannot afford multiple doctor visits, and I know that if I could lose this weight, I would relieve much of the stress on the joints themselves, making myself more mobile. Any ideas?
