Every now and then, certainly not often, when i lay on my stomach i experience lower back pain. Its not a sharp pain, it’s more like an ‘ache’ feeling. It actually feels kind of good like its a relief ‘pain’. I can’t really explain it more than that…but i was wondering if it is something i should worry about? I want to know what causes it.
Last October my lower back went out while helping my kid get dressed but it got better after a week or 2. But then the pain came back about 2 months later for a few days and it was just on my lower right backside. No radiating down my leg. But again after a few days it went away. So I didn’t think anymore of it. Well a few days ago I was sleeping and woke up with really bad pain in my right lower back and it radiates down my leg to my knee. It hurts to walk, sit, lay down, bend over etc… Any ideas what this could be??
My daughter, aged 21, was at college and had just successfully completed an exam when she experienced excrutiating pain in her lower back and down both legs. She walked home – said it was less painful walking, but is now in bed in pain. I intend taking her to a doctor but we live in Egypt and I am rather nervous/scepticle about doctors. Any suggestions re medication/causes/cures. Is there a doctor out there?
I have blood in toilet before with no back pain. I do alot of lifting at work. Is the back pain and blood related? no pain from going toilet or in that area just lower back and hips. back pain worse after laying or sitting. could back pain be kidneys? tried heat and ice. panadol not working. tried anti-inflamotory creams for days thats some help can not take tablets as causes bad reflux.
I injured my lower back about 3 weeks ago. It still has yet to heal after physical therapy. Some of the exercises brought the original pain back. I have noticed lately if im squatting down to pick something up and as I stand I get dizzy/light headed. Any ideas what this could be?
I been dealing w/ these sun burn like pains on my lower back and outer sides of the thighs and legs on and off for 2 years now.
I have suffered for years from debilitating lower back pain, and doctors only recommend pills or surgery. It comes and goes, but as of recent it has been really bad, cause stabbing pains in my lower sides, tingling in my toes, and hindering my range of motion greatly. I am young (26 yrs old) and it is ruining my quality of life. Any feedback or advice on inversion therapy is much welcomed
Sciatica is one possibility.

So I was diagnosed a few months ago with a herniated L5 disc in my lower back. I dont have time for the physical therapy, and it takes way to long. Do you think Spinal Decompression will work for me?
2 months ago i developed lower back pain. it continues down my legs. my muscles a very week. ibuprofine helps, but it seems like these areas are still cramping.
This sounds like a Chiropractic problem in your lower back vertabrae – the pain and/or numbness comes from irritation of the nerve roots exiting the spine there.
A series of normal Chiropractic adjustments could greatly help this. Do you do heavy lifting, standing or sitting at your work? Have you ever had a fall or injury even a long time ago?
See a good HMO Chiropractor for 8-10 times, that will help a lot.
Don’t take drugs that is just a joke and does nothing except mask problems.
I have been having throbbing lower back pain, but only when I lie down, for about a month. At first it was just uncomfortable but now it’s actually very painful and I have to keep moving around to get comfortable for bed and when I lie on the floor flat my back begins to throb. I have a doctors appointment in a few days to talk about this but I was just wondering what everyone thought could be causing this?
