waking up with leg pain that radiates from the lower part of the knee to the ankle, with calf pain. sore & aching and tender to touch from the front to the back of the legs as well as on the inside. once I start moving around it eleviates.

I think I may have it. For the past 2 years I have a pain that I beleive originates in my colon. It’s a gnawing sort of dull pain on my right mid side accompained by low back pain. The pain seems to come on about an hour after eating gluten or very bready/ starchy foods. Since I discovered it may be gluten causing the pain, I’ve cut way back on gluten but the digestive problems I have seem to keep going on. Warning this is probably TMI ! .. I read that one of the most common signs you have celiac is if you have frequent diarrea. I occasionally have it but I more commonly constipated. Other digestive problems I have are gas, acid stomouch/ bile/ heartburn, and burping. All the other symptoms of Celiac’s I seem to have.. dehydrated, mild depression, foggy brain, irritability, and just plain feeling sick. Are my symptoms severs enough to spend money on a doctor at this point (don’t have insurance and am poor right now) or should I wait it out. Anyone with the disease have same symptoms? Need some advice! Thanks!

I hurt my ankle in Jan last year and my knee in March. The doctors at my university could not figure it out but when I went home for the summer I saw some really good sports docs who told me that my peroneal nerve was entrapped. After going to physical therapy all summer, taking prednisone, and trying a nerve block (which worked for 2 days and then the pain came back) I decided to get a nerve decompression surgery on my knee.
6 weeks after the surgery (the time the docs said), I started biking. I biked for 2 weeks and then started short jogging workouts and increased over time. My ankle was hurting a little with the running but not the way it did before the surgery and it didn’t hurt when the ankle was taped. However, my knee and my ankle have been hurting a lot when i lay down.
On Monday I had my first faster workout with short accelerations (start slow and increase into a faster run). It hurt a little during the workout but not that much. On Tuesday my ankle hurt to walk and this continued through Thursday, decreasing each day. I have not run since Monday. I saw my school sports doctor on Tuesday and she put me on voltaren but had no idea what the problem was and is sending me to our other sports doctor who I doubt will know either. Does anyone have any idea what this might be???
Today, walking a lot will make it hurt, but what hurts the most right now is staying still. If I stop moving I get a sharp aching in my ankle and some aching through my knee. The knee hurt on the outside back and the ankle hurts on the outside above the bone that sticks out right on the fibula.
Please help! It hurts when I lay down and is keeping me awake at night. I am a student and I really need to sleep because I’ve been sleeping through all my classes for the past 3 weeks.

I have had chronic neck pain for the last 5+ years. I recently had a neck xray and found that I have degenerative disc disease (I believe this is or is related to osteoarthritis). I was wondering if anyone out there also has this and had success with physical therapy, chiropractic, etc….as opposed to surgery.. I would like to avoid surgery if possible. I’ve read about a pillow called Posture Pal, but the only place I can find information or reviews is on their own website, which makes me skeptical. I’m hoping either a Posture Pal user or a chiropractor, physical therapist, or doctor knows something that might help me decide if it’s a good product and worth the cost? My pain management clinic scheduled me to have one in two weeks for my severe low back pain that radiates into my right leg. Can anyone tell me what to expect from it? Do they help? Is it painful? I had a cortisone injection by my ribs for nerve pain months ago and that didn’t help, so I was wondering if this is different cause my back pain is getting excrutiating.

i had a decompression of my ulna nerve on my elbow.my scar seems to be healing well but the area is very hot and i dont know why.there is no seepage but obviously its hot and still quite sore.also as well as tenderness i have numbness around the back of the elbow. i had the operation just over 2 weeks ago.. any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

It’s been 5 months and my lower back hurts so much worse than it ever did while I was pregnancy. Sometimes when I stand up the pain shoots down the front of my legs and through my lower back so strong, I have to try to sit back down. (Which usually just causes even more pain). It’s really starting to affect my every day life. Has this happened to anyone else? What was the problem?

I just had a discogram done yesterday, which was not fun… They said that disk decompression could help, I am 27yrs old with herniation on L4-5,L5-S1 levels. Is this a less evasive procedure and how sucessful of a treatment is it? Any feedback would be really helpful

My husband has severe scatica and some lower back pain but MRIs, CT and bone scans, physical therapy, nerve burn (rizotomy??), accupuncture, chiropractic and spinal decompression have not helped. This has been going on for about 19 months now and he can’t work. Most days can’t do much of anything. It has totally changed our lives, and today the doctor said he can’t do anything else for us. I read about priformis syndrome and that led to finding the neurography site. But I am interested to know how much is self-promotion on the part of the inventor v. real results. The technology is only about 10 years old, and appears to be very limited in where it is offered due to patented techniques. So anyone have an opinion to share?

Hi. I notice that after I eat I get a terrible lower back pain as if my finger was hit by a door. It is so painful and followed by a stomach pain. What is this? Anyone know the name? Is there a treatment? What’s the name of the disease? All I ate was a burrito and a glass of milk.
