I am only two mo. but off and on I have been havin some pain. It does go away after layin down but, what could causes it?? I go to my first apt. May 7, 2008 . I don’t know if I should wait till then. I may just call but, I am kind of scared. I have lost two in the past but, I do have my handsome 1yr Collin.
This is my second pregnancy. I miscarried with my first back in April this year. I was wondering if anyone experience these types of pains in early pregnancy and everything was fine. I have not had any bleeding or anything just the pain on and off. I was diagnosed earlier with a Uti but have since been treated. My follow-up appt confirmed the Uti was gone. Do you think it is still possible to have one and that is causing the achiness. Any advice I would greatly appreciate.
I’ve searched and searched my symptoms but I get alot of answers regarding pregnancy which I’m not. I’m 35, have two children and my husband has had a vasectomy.
I have had some dull/ache cramps in my lower abdomen and lower back (sometimes radiating to my thighs) on and off for a few months. I went to my dr. about 2 months ago for this and she did an internal exam and pap. She said everything looked normal including the urine sample. I had gone to my ob about a year prior to that and had an u/s done and exam and was told everything was normal.
A couple months ago this all happened about 10 days prior to my period so I didn’t think it was related. After a while it went away and I was okay for a month or so and now I am feeling the same way again. Crampy, back pain and I am not due for my period for 12 days or so.
I am pretty stressed about something unrelated and wonder if stress could actually cause cramps and low back pain?? It doesn’t sound very possible to me. The last time this happened I was pretty stressed too…just don’t know if there’s a relation or if it’s something totally unrelated.
Any ideas?
I’ve been dealing with abdominal pain for over a year now. But a few days ago my right side started hurting more than normal. Hits more when i sit or stand than when i lay down and it’s causing alot of lower back pain. It’s crampy and sharp in my abdomen but i don’t have any nausea or fever or anything else just ALOT of unbearable pain. Not sure what to do since every time i go to the doctor or ER they never find anything so i’m not sure whether to go now or if it would be a waste of time. Want opinions and i can add any other info needed if necessary.
My girlfriend just started her period. she has had upper to mid abdominal pains all day. she says they are pretty severe, shooting pains. but now thinks they’re just severe cramp pains. but the pain spread to the lower outer parts of her back. also when she lays it is bearable but when she stands its pretty much unwithstandable. she did yoga and stretched that area so that may be the cause. does anyone know any causes for these symptoms. also a little nauscious and burpy.
I’ve been having pain in my lower right pelvic area. I already been to the OB and there is nothing wrong with my ovaries. What else could be the cause of my pain? It never goes away. Its a constant sharp pain that last all the time…and hurts worse when I run.
For 4 months now, I have had lower left abdominal pain, seems to originate from the lower back though, sharp stinging type pain in the left hip, that radiates into my groin and leg. Everything is on the left side. I’m 37 years old, and usually very healthy. I pretty much woke up from a nap one day and felt a horrible pain in my left groin testicle area, it has now migrated to the spots I have mentioned. I’m a bit of a hypocondriac, and immediately start searching the web for lower left abdominal pain causes and find colon cancer and things of that nature. I have no sign of colon cancer in my family. I have had a ct scan of my abdomin and pelvis, and have even done a home fecal occult blood test. All tests were negetive. I’m lost and just want to feel like I felt 4 months ago. I’ve heard lower back strain, hip inflammation, sciatic nerve. Does anyone have these type of symptoms, and can help me figure this out?
Can low back disc pains cause abdominal pain? Or would it be 2 different things going on?
My gynecologist insists thats what this is & that it is due to stress. Sometimes it lasts 30 minutes, sometimes 2-3 days. A very warm shower or heating pad usually helps. Anyone else has this problem?
Oh, the pain is usually about a 6-7 on a scale of 1-10.
My girlfriend is worried about this pain she has been having. It’s an abdominal pain that feels like heartburn except it’s in her stomach. it comes on every once in a while (5-6 times a day) then leaves as soon as it began (not really but still, about 5-10 seconds) Please help
Hi I am a 19 female who has a problem… you see ever since this past March (which has been almost 3 months) I have been experciencing very sharp and severe lower left back and abdominal pains from time to time. I went to my doctor and she said the pains probably came on so severe because I had taken my birth control but i never started my period. So she told me to stop taking my birth control which I did and sure enough the pain went away. But then as quick as it went away is just as quick as it came back. It was probably like 2 weeks later that it came back. And it’s been like that for almost 3 months now… It comes and goes. And another problem I haven’t started my period in those 3 months niether. And no I’m not pregnant because I have taken home pregnancy tests and they have all came back negative. So please what should I do!!! Thank-You
I have been having lower ab and back pain and my period is late which happen every month, its just alot long this time. Could this be a sign of pregnancy?
Pain is in the front left side of lower abdominal.
it feels like a sharp pain that goes straight across. I went to the doctor but he said he wasn’t for sure what it was but thought that it might be from a past surgery I had in 2001! I had gastric by-pass and i have some “NOT A LOT” of loose skin hanging. What do you think?
I have been experiencing a dull pain in my lower abdomen for a day or two at a time for several months now. The pain is the worst in the morning. I have not changed my diet, nor has any of my female cycles changed or been irregular- the only thing I can think of is my nephew who I babysit. Hes quite heavy (40 lbs about – and I’m 20 years old and 120 lbs) and I sometimes lift him, for example yesterday he threw a tantrum and I lifted him up and he proceeded to struggle with me and kick me, today I woke up with the pain again- my question is this- can this kind of lower abdominal pain be cause by lifting a heavy child and/or the kicking, even though i don’t have any back pain?
